Istanbul City Tour 1

Day 1: Arrival and WelcomeFlight from Germany to Istanbul. Upon arrival, you will be met by your travel guide and transferred to your hotel. During the welcome cocktail, you will be briefed about the details of your stay in Istanbul. Later, you will be taken by bus to the Bosphorus and by ferry to the legendary and historic 'Leanderturm' (Maiden's Tower) for a welcome dinner. The evening ends with a pleasant journey along the Bosphorus.

Day 2: Istanbul Tour Full of HistoryAfter breakfast, you embark on a comprehensive city tour into the depths of old Istanbul. The tour begins with a visit to the Blue Mosque, one of the most important Ottoman mosques with its six minarets and elegant tiles. Then, you walk through the Hippodrome area, which bears traces of the Byzantine Empire, passing the obelisk area to the Hagia Sophia, which was considered Christianity's most important church for almost 1000 years. In the afternoon, you explore sections of Topkapi Palace displaying the richest collection of Ottoman treasures. The palace includes many structures such as courtyards, pavilions, mosques, fountains, residences, and the Basilica Cistern, an underground water reservoir consisting of 336 columns. You will also enjoy shopping at the spice market, also known as the Egyptian Bazaar, accompanied by the enchanting scents of unique Eastern spices. Dinner will be served during a peaceful journey on the Bosphorus, accompanied by the silhouettes of many palaces, summer houses, wooden houses, fishing villages, and Rumeli Fortress.

Day 3: Prince Islands TourAfter breakfast, you set out for a trip to the Prince Islands. You take a ship from the pier in the Golden Horn to Büyükada (Big Island). After lunch, you have the opportunity to explore the island at your leisure. Later, you cross from the Asian side to Europe, transferring to Del Mare Restaurant via the Bosphorus Bridge.

Day 4: Palaces, Churches, and ShoppingToday begins with a visit to Dolmabahce Palace, the Sultans' last palace in the 19th century. Then, you proceed to the Chora Church (Kariye Mosque), one of the most valuable examples of Byzantine art with its mosaics. Later, you can climb Galata Tower to enjoy views of the Bosphorus, Golden Horn, and historic Istanbul. The tour continues with shopping at the book bazaar and Grand Bazaar. Your farewell dinner will be held on Suada Island in the Bosphorus, accessible by Sultan boats, where you'll enjoy flavors blending East and West.

Day 5: FarewellTransfer to the airport after breakfast.
