Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Morocco!Upon arrival in Marrakech, you will be met by your guide. First impressions of this enchanting city during the short transfer from the airport to your hotel. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 2: Breathtaking LandscapesTravel through the winding roads of the High Atlas Mountains to reach the 2,260-meter Tichka Pass. Journey through increasingly arid landscapes with panoramic views. In the afternoon, visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou Ksar. Explore local life in the traditional Taourirt Kasbah (Berber fortress). Overnight in Ouarzazate.
Day 3: Desert and Oasis AdventureJourney to Erfoud. Arrive at the desert hotel passing through oases and ancient irrigation systems. In the afternoon, enjoy an adventurous safari in 4x4 vehicles to the sand dunes. Experience a sunset camel ride in the desert. Overnight in Erfoud.
Day 4: Berber Villages, Fertile Valleys and MountainsEarly departure for MEKNES. This approximately 500 km route showcases Morocco's diverse landscapes: arid desert terrain, oases, impressive mountain views, and fertile plains near Middelt. Travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through magnificent cedar and pine forests via Azrou to Meknes. In the afternoon, explore Meknes, one of the Royal Cities. In this vibrant city contrasting with past experiences, we'll see ruins, narrow streets of the Medina, and the ancient water basin. Overnight in Meknes.
Day 5: Short Bus Journey to FesExploration begins with the Medina, famous for its labyrinthine narrow streets and colorful markets. Here, intense impressions and aromas will enchant you. We'll see the "el-Karaouine" (from outside), the world's oldest university, and the 14th-century theological school Medersa. Nearby, we'll visit the Royal Palace with its magnificent gates. Then, we'll head to Volubilis, the country's largest Roman ruins. Walking among columns and elegant mosaics, you can feel the splendor of the Roman era. Return to Meknes and overnight.
Day 6: From Capital Rabat to CasablancaMorning arrival in Rabat, Morocco's capital. Here we have the unique chance to see behind the walls of a Royal Palace. While the palace interiors are not accessible, we'll learn about the Royal family and the monarchy's importance for the country in its vast gardens. At the point where the Bouregreg River meets the Atlantic Ocean, we'll see the mausoleums of Mohammed V and Hassan II, and the mosque built by Yacoub el-Mansour. Evening arrival in Casablanca. During the city tour, we'll breathe in the atmosphere of this modern metropolis adorned with Art Deco buildings. Photo opportunity in front of the famous "Rick's Café" during the city tour. Day 7: A Magnificent Mosque and Return to MarrakechStart the day visiting the massive mosque built by Hassan II. (Mosque visit can be reserved on site. Entrance fee €19 per person, not included in program as access may not always be possible.) Hundreds of craftsmen, woodcarvers, and construction workers realized architect Michel Pinseau's plans in just six years. Departing Casablanca, we travel to Marrakech along the Atlantic Ocean coast through fertile lands and rocky deserts. After a detailed city tour, arrival at our hotel. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 8: Marrakech's Historical TreasuresBahia Palace, Koutoubia Mosque, and Bab Agnaou Gate are just a few of Marrakech's historical landmarks. But you haven't truly experienced this city without mingling with the crowds at "Djemaa el-Fna Square", filled with snake charmers, acrobats, and storytellers. While wandering through the Medina, we'll visit traditional spice shops ("pharmacies"). We'll explore jewelry and leather workshops to learn about craftsmanship and have the chance to acquire a personal holiday souvenir.
Day 9: Farewell Morocco!As Jean-Paul said, "Memories are the only paradise from which we cannot be expelled." We leave this beautiful country with a much richer treasure of memories than when we arrived and begin our journey home.
