An unforgettable hiking experience on Paul's Way, one of the most important pilgrimage routes of ancient times, discovering historical and natural beauties at the foothills of the magnificent Taurus Mountains.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: TransferUpon arrival at Antalya Airport, transfer to the camp lodge by Lake Karacaören in the Taurus Mountains with your hiking guide (approximately 1 hour). The rest of the day and evening is free time, with dinner served at the lodge.

Day 2: Lake KaracaörenStarting from the picturesque Karacaören Village, we hike through the unique endemic "Eastern Amber Tree Forest" towards Kargı Village. There's a swimming break in the canyon bay along the way. This route features Mediterranean vegetation (like a mixed, wild botanical garden) including Mediterranean strawberry trees, myrtle, wolfsbane, anemones, pine, thyme, Judas trees, and various orchids. Return to the lodge by bus for dinner.
Transport: Approximately 20 minutes by bus.
Hiking: Moderate difficulty, 4-5 hours (10 km); ascent: 300 m, descent: 300 m.

Day 3: Elsazi VillageStarting from Elsazi Village, we hike through black pine forests. Our route continues to the ruins of the ancient city of Milyos and a panoramic point overlooking Lake Karacaören. This is an easy to moderate 4-hour hike (8 km) with approximately 250 m ascent and descent. Dinner is served at the lodge.

Day 4: Yazılı Canyon National ParkToday, we follow in the footsteps of Saint Paul, hiking in the historic Yazılı Canyon National Park. The route is adorned with natural flowing water and pools, fragrant herbs, and pristine waterfalls; while nightingales sing, "Türkenkleiber" (Turkish sittella-like formations) will make you feel like you're walking inside the canyon. The hike ends at Sütçüler District. Return to the lodge by bus for dinner.
Transport: Approximately 45 minutes by bus.
Hiking: Moderate difficulty, 5-6 hours (10 km); ascent: approximately 500 m.

Day 5: Ancient City of KapıkayaStarting the day with farmer's bread, thyme honey, goat or sheep cheese, and farm eggs for breakfast, our group explores the historic texture of the ancient city of Kapıkaya, visiting marketplaces, temple ruins, etc. After the visit, we continue hiking among the colorful flower fields in the nomadic people's high plateau, accompanied by bleating sheep herds, semi-wild horses, and watchful Kangal shepherd dogs. At the end of the day, return to the lodge by bus for dinner.
Transport: Approximately 30 minutes by bus.
Hiking: Moderate difficulty, 3-4 hours (10 km); ascent: 450 m, descent: 450 m.

Day 6: Mount DavrazSetting out early, we pass through the endemic Kasnak Oak Forest and begin hiking towards the majestic Mount Davraz (2635 m). This day features our longest route and one of the most remarkable moments of our hike. Accompanied by Apollo butterflies along the way, we progress along the ridge of Mount Davraz, crowned by the enchanting view of the Taurus Mountains and a sunset offering oriental dreams. Return to the lodge by bus for dinner.
Transport: Approximately 45 minutes by bus.
Hiking: Challenging, 6-7 hours (15 km); ascent: 750 m.

Day 7: Sivri Peak and EÄŸirdir TownStarting from the breathtaking panoramic point at Sivri Peak, we descend towards Lake EÄŸirdir. While descending towards the town of the same name, those interested can visit a Turkish hammam. Then, we take a short tour in the town center, visiting the historic mosque and bazaar.
Transport: Approximately 1 hour by bus.
Hiking: Easy to moderate difficulty, 4 hours (15 km); descent: 750 m.
At the end of the day, return to the lodge for dinner, followed by a farewell party around the campfire in the evening.

Day 8: TransferAfter breakfast, transfer to the airport for departure.
